Elizabeth Hendrickson resided at at Linn County, Iowa, bt 1856 - 1877; Children were born in Linn County, Iowa in the following years: 1856, 1858, 1860, 1861, 1864, 1866, 1868, 1870, 1875, 1877. She resided at at Iroquois, Kingsbury County, South Dakota, c 1882; Her husband's obituary states that he lived in 'this vicinity' of Iowa since his arrival at age four, 'excepting for about ten years when he was in South Dakota.' An unknown source claims that Nettie Jane Cochran - Darland, while in her mid twenties, moved to South Dakota with her parents (abt. 1882). She died on 27. Elizabeth Hendrickson was born on June 11, 1839, at Holmes Co., Ohio. June 30, 1852 she was united in marriage to John Cochran. To this union ten children were born, six boys and four girls, three sons and the father preceeding the mother to the better land. She departed this life Sept. 27, 1914 at 12 p.m., aged 77 yrs. 3 mo. 16 days. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Abbott of this city. 7 children surviving her are: George G. Cochran of Independence, Ia., Nettie Dorland, Hannah Morgan, Viola Abbot, Stella Wickham, Ulyses Cochran all of Center Point and Samual Cochran of Superior, Wis. who could not be present. Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Viola Abbott and Internment in the Center Point Cemetery, (?) John Eaton, officiating.
She was buried a 27. Sep. 1914 at Center Point, Polk Township, Linn County, Iowa.
