Glenn W. Hobson was born on 20. Jul. 1909 at near, Erie, Neosho County, Kansas. He was the son of
Clarence Wesley Hobson and
Britta Bennett. Glenn W. Hobson married
Louvella Fennell. Glenn W. Hobson died on 31. Dec. 1971 at Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, at age 62. Glen’s obituary appeared in the Erie Record in January 1971.
“Glen W. Hobson, 62, a resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, died at 11:30 p. m., Friday, December 31, 1971 in Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Death was attributed to a heart attack. He had been in failing health for the past three years and retired from work because of his health.
He was born July 20, 1909 on a farm southwest of Erie, Kansas, the son of Clarence W. and Britta Hobson. He graduated from Erie High School in 1927 and also graduated from the Santa Fe Telegraph School in Topeka.
Hobson and Miss Louella Fennell of Mount Pleasant, Michigan were married in 1932. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Larry Hobson, of Kalamazoo; two daughters, Mrs.Bonnie Moren of Vicksburg, Michigan, and Cindy Hobson of Kalamazoo; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ira (Gladys) White and Mrs. Nina Long, both of Erie.
Funeral services were held at the Langland Funeral Home in Kalamazoo, Michigan on January 4, 1972. On 1. Jan. 1972.
