Pomona Woman's Death Was Caused By Peritonitis

Mrs. Blanche M. Bethell, wife of Ralph H. Bethell, of northwest of Pmona, died last night at 8 o'clock, following a brief illness. She had been sick nine days and death resulted from peritonitis.

Mrs. Bethell was nearly 23 years old. She was born November 3, 1899 at Odell, Nebraska and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. X. Jones live near Pomona. On August 9, 1922, Blanche M. Jones and Mr. Bethell were married at Centropolis at the home of Rev. Alfred Clark. Beside the parents, there is a sister, Mrs. Goldie Broyles and two brothers, Clarence and Jesse who survive.

The funeral will be held from the home, two miles northwest of Pomona, Friday afternoon. Rev. Clark is to conduct the services at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
