     William Laimbeer married Nathalie Schenck, daughter of Noah Hunt Schenck and Anna Pierce Pendleton. William Laimbeer died on 4. Aug. 1913. Mr. Pell met death in a distressing grade crossing accident on Long Island, Sunday night, Aug. 3, 1913. He and Mrs. Pell and friends were returning from a dinner party given at the Nassau Hotel, Long Beach, by William K. Vanderbilt, Jr. The automobile in which he was riding was struck by an electric train, and Mr. Pell and his chauffeur were instantly killed. William Laimbeer of Hempstead, N. Y., who was in the machine, was so badly injured that he died the next day, and Mrs. Laimbeer (Nathalie Schenck) was severely injured. Mrs. Pell, who was with a party of friends in a car behind, escaped injury. Source: THE HOWLAND HEIRS, 1919.
