Sarah Etta Baker on 2. Sep. 1885 at Warsaw, Benton County, Missouri. George Thomas Ball was Blacksmith & Shoemaker. He died on 5. Apr. 1934 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, at age 72. He was buried at Memorial Gardens, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. Born on his Grandfather Ball's Iowa farm, George was about three years old whe n his family moved to Central Missouri; was sixteen when the family moved to T exas. Until George moved to Oklahoma, around 1898, from age eighteen he lived in Missouri. The town of Warsaw, Benton County, Missouri, was the site twenty -three year old George Thomas Ball married nineteen year old Sarah Etta Baker. Over the next twenty years they had nine children. By Spring 1888, George an d Sarah Etta Ball lived in Sedalia, Missouri, where their second child was bor n, by 1890, the family lived in Schuyler County, Missouri, where their third c hild was born; 1892 they were back in Sedalia where their foourth and fifth ch ildren were born. The George Ball Family lived in Springfield, Missouri, by S umner of 1897, where their sixth child was born. Around 1898, George moved hi s wife and five children to Oklahoma Indian Territory. They first settled in Hennessey located in Kingfisher County, where their seventh child was born. S ometime by 1902, they lived in Butler located in Custer, County, where their e ighth child was born, their last child was born in Washita County, the town of Foss, where they were living by 1905. The George Ball's final settlement was Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. George Thomas Ball workd as a blacksmith, had a lea ther tanning business with his brother Sam, for awhile after the move to Oklah oma was made by both. When George lived in Foss, he served as Deputy Sheriff and Town Marshall. George Thomas Ball was a very nice person though stern and a joker who loved his childrena dn his grandchildren. Sarah Etta Baker Ball also a very nice special person, loved her children and grandchildren.
