OBITUARY: Richwood Gazette, January 27, 1881: Harry Good and his wife (Nancy Emeline Moore) returned Monday from Winamac, Pulaski Co., Indiana where they had gone to attend the funeral of Mrs. Good's father, John Moore who died Friday, January 21, 1881. John Moore was buried at Winamac Cemetery, Pulaski, Indiana, Section 5/6, row 34, on West Adams Street. Headstone reads: John Moore died 01-21-1881 aged 68 years.
Winamac Journal, Winamac, Indiana, January 28, 1881: John Moore deceased at this house in Franklin Twp, January 1881, aged 68 . Mr. Moore bought the Henry Holdbrook farm a short time ago. He took sick on Saturday, and died on the Friday following and was buried at the Winamac Cemetery on the 29th. His children in Ohio were notified by telegraph. One son Wilson and a son-in-law Harry and his wife Nancy Emeline Moore came in time to see him buried. His widow and friends extend their heartfelt thanks to the neighbors for their kindness in the hour of affliction. He was buried on 29. Jan. 1881 at Winamac, Pulaski County, Indiana.
