Tobyas Nevius was also known as Tobias Nevius. Tobyas Nevius was born on 23. Jul. 1720 at Marlboro, New Jersey. He was the son of

Aeltje Ten Eyck. Tobyas Nevius married
Rebecca Polhemus, daughter of
Supposed father of Rebecca Tunis Polhemus and
Supposed mother of Rebecca Sarah Emans, on 18. May. 1747. Tobyas Nevius resided at at near, New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey, in 1748. He resided at at Harlingen, Somerset County, New Jersey, in 1750. He resided at at Probably between, New Brunswick and Cranbury, Middlesex County, New Jersey, bt 1752 - 1760. He resided at at Neshanic, Somerset County, New Jersey, c 1765; where he purchased a farm of 150 acres, one and one-half miles due west of present day (1900) Clover Hill, NJ. He died on 20. Nov. 1784 at near, Neshanic, Somerset County, New Jersey, at age 64.
