Earl Myron Ovenshire was born on 18. Jun. 1902 at Romeo, MaComb County, Michigan. He married
Elizabeth Augusta Gwilliam. Earl Myron Ovenshire and
Elizabeth Augusta Gwilliam were divorced on 15. Dec. 1947. Earl Myron Ovenshire was Electrical Lineman. He died on 31. May. 1995 at Okeechobee, Okeechobee County, Florida, at age 92. Earl Myron Ovenshire was born in the house his grandfather built. He
remembers going to "Vaudville" acts in Romeo, Michigan as a child. He
recalls riding a "trolley" car home and stopping at the "Book (SP)
Cadillac Hotel", "King
Wallou's (SP) Chinese Restaurant" for take out food. He continued to
love Chinese food until his death.
He worked in an appliance store selling stoves. In the afternoon he was
supposed to go out into the field and sell stoves. Instead he would go to
the baseball stadium to see ball games. He would report back to work at
5 PM with no sales. His favorite baseball team at the time of his
passing, was the Atlanta Braves.
He loved the water, fishing, bowling etc. He belonged to the Moose Club,
was a member in good standing at the Elks Club in Okeechobee, Florida
until his death.
Earl was cremated, by his wishes, and his ashes are in Memorial Gardens
in Lake Worth, Florida.
