Dr. Earl Paschall Jr. passed away on Oct. 29, 2002.
He is survived by daughter, Marti Paschall of Dallas; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and George Venner of Mesquite; nephew, George Venner Jr. of Mesquite; niece, Vali Dicus of Heath and a host of friends.
Dr. Paschall is preceded in death by his parents, Earle and Mildred Paschall of Sunnyvale and an infant daughter, Priscilla Paschall.
Dr. Paschall grew up in Sunnyvale, was a graduate of Mesquite High School, Texas A&M and Baylor School of Dentistry, where he was a member of Psi Omega fraternity. He also attended SMU. He served his beloved country in World War II and was a dentist with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, having attained the rank of Lt. Commander.
He is a member of RC Buckner Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Hella Temple Shrine. He is a member of the Methodist Church. Dr. Paschall practiced dentistry in Dallas for 40 years and had many loyal patients who knew they not only received the best of dental care, but always a little joke to cheer them upon each visit. He was a lifetime member of the Dallas County Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association and very well respected among his colleagues, young and old.
Upon his retirement, he donated all of his dental equipment to the Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, of which he was very honored to do.
The family received friends at Sparkman/Hillcrest, Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy. Chapel, Rev. David M. Carr, officiating. Burial to follow at Long Creek Cemetery in Sunnyvale. Pallbearers are RC Buckner Masonic Lodge. Honorary Pallbearers are Bob Pope, Dr. Claude Swords, G.M. Tippitt, Ray Baggett, Jim Stockton, Dave Andrews, Dr. Max Motley, The Monday Nite Social Club and Kuby's Coffee Gang.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Association, 6060 N. Central Expwy, Suite 405, Dallas, TX 75206 and/or the American Diabetes Association, 12770 Merit Drive, Suite 115A, Dallas, TX 75251.
