Miss. Minnie J. Robbins was born Mar 26, 1860 in Washington Co., Indiana and departed this life Feb. 18, 1940 at Syracuse, having attained the age of 79
years, 10 months and 23 days. She was united in marriage on Nov. 29, 1881 to Claude A. Gillum in Tere Haute, Indiana to which union two children were born, Mrs. P.E. Milburn, Rolla and M.L. Gillum, Johnson. She joined the Methodist Church at Fisher, Kansas ini 1914, later moving her membership to the Manter Methodist church. She was faithful to her Master to the very last. In 1888, she and Mr. Gillum, who died in 1937, homesteaded north and west of Johnson and they resided there until he passed away. Since that time she hasbeen living with her children. She leaves to mourn her passing a daughter, Mrs. P.E. Milburn; a son M.L. Gillum; 11 grandchilren and 12 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Interment was in the Johnson Cemetery. She was buried at Johnson Cemetery, Johnson, Stanton County, Kansas.
