Daniel C. Schenck appeared on the census of 22. May. 1910 at with his grandson George Schenck, Scranton Twp., Osage County, Kansas. He died on 19. Jun. 1911 at Burlingame, Osage County, Kansas, at age 87. I have just started searching our family history and came across a family bible with birthdates and names. As far as I can tell, Daniel C. Schenck (b 3/13/1824 - m. 9/1/1847) married Hannah W. Ely (b. 2/19/1828) and possbilbly had the following children William E. Schenck (b. 10/29/1849), Maria L. Schenck (b. 1/29/1852), and Eliza Jane Schenck (b. 10/1858). Then I belive William E. Schenck maried Buena Vista Morgan (b. 10/14/1848) and had the following children: Maria Schenck (b. 9/28/1873) and Idia Schenck (b. 12/10/1875). I cannot verify any of this information and I'm only guessing how all of the names listed in the fammily bible fit together. Does anyone have any other information on any of these people?
