BIESTER - PERRY
Mr and Mrs Walter Biester of Havensville announce the marriage of their daughter Helen Irene to Mr. Robert Eugene Perry, son of Mr and Mrs Tom Perry of Havensville.
The marriage was solemnized Tuesday evening, August 12 at 7 o'clock a t the home of the brides parents, Rev. Green of Soldier officiated.
An altar was formed of baskets of gladiolas and lighted candles. The candles were lighted by Miss Marilyn Coltharp. Preceding the ceremony, M rs. Myra Marcoux played "Claor De Lunne"(sic) and during the ceremony she softly played "Always."
The bride wore a street length dress of white crepe and lace with a corsage of pink sweetheart roses and carried a white bible. Her only jewelry was a strand of pearls, a gift of the groom.
Miss Maurine Biester attended her sister as bridesmaid and wore a corsage of white carnations.
The best man was Mr. Wilbur Post, a friend of the young couple. The brides mother wore a dress of aqua bemberg and the grooms mother wore a d ress of aqua crepe. Each wore a corsage of pink carnations. The fathers wore dark suits.
The reception was held in the home with only the immediate family present. The table was laid with a lace table cloth where the bridal couple cut their wedding cake.
Mrs. Lois Joyce and Mrs. Beatrice Beach served at the reception.
