LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF BENJAMIN STAHL: "I, BENJAMIN STAHL, of Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking any former wills by me heretofore made.
"ITEM 1. It is my will that all my just debts, including the expense of my last sickness and funeral expenses be fully paid as soon after my decease as may be practical.
"ITEM 2. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Estella Stahl, the property owned by me and located at No 1203 South Plate Street, in the City of Kokomo, Indiana, to be hers for and during her natural life. At her death it is my will that said property be turned over absolutely to my son, Frederick G. Stahl, to be his absolutely.
"ITEM 3. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, estella [sic] Stahl, all money deposited by me and now on deposit in the Pennsylvania Railroad Employee's Provident Loan Association; also the Insurance in the Pennsylvania Railroad Voluntary Relief Department, Certificate #33346. I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife all moneys [sic] in the bank and all personal property owned by me at the time of my death, to be hers absolutely. I also bequeath to my beloved wife the insurance in the Modern Woodman of America, also one (1) railroad bond in the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars.
"ITEM 4. I make no provision in this will for my daughters Evelyn Short, Lucy Benny, Carrie B. Littler, Esther B. Perry and Oakley F. Spradling, for the reason that my beloved wife will make provisions for them out of her estate.
"ITEM 5. I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Estella Stahl executrix of this will and it is my desire that she so serve without bond.

Obituary, "Kokomo Tribune," 13 Jun 1932: Benjamin STAHL, 62, well known section foreman, a resident of Kokomo 40+ years, died at home, 1203 S. Plate St., at 1:30 Sunday morning. Died of diseases from which he suffered long months, although he kept his employment until 4 months prior to his death. He was born and spent his early childhood in Ohio City, Van Wert Co, OH. Married to Estella GAUSE, also of Ohio City, in 1890. Widow survives and 5 daughters, one son, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Two daughters preceded him in death by several years. Surviving children are: Mrs. Eva SHORT of Plymouth, IN; Mrs.
Oakoleah SPRADLING of Logansport; Mrs. Blanche LITTLER of Indianapolis; Mrs. Pauline BERRY of Dolton, IL; Mrs. Lucy BINNEY of Kokomo; and Fred STAHL at home. Funeral from South Side Christian Church, Tuesday afternoon, by Rev. Truman BATEY. Member Odd Fellows Lodge & Modern Woodman Lodge of Kokomo. Employee of Pennsylvania Railway Co. for 40+ years. On 13. Jun. 1932. He was buried on 14. Jun. 1932 at Crown Point Cemetery, Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana.
