ANNOUNCEMENTS
In Memoriam.
Stevens- In loving memory of our son and brother, Seamen 2/c Oren D., who died in the Pacific at sea, April 6th, one year ago today. When we look upon your picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine,
And a smile for one and all.
As we loved you so we miss you .
On our memories you are dear.
The lost was great, the shock severe,
We little thought the end was near.
Only those who have lost can tell
The pain of parting without fare-well.
Good was his hart and friendship true,
Loved and respected by all who knew;
To beautiful life came a sudden end.
"Tis sweet to know we'll meet again Where parting is no more,
And that the one we loved so well Has just gone on before,
Sadly missed by Mother, Dad and Sisters. Oakfield, N.Y.
