Myrtle Sudweeks Greenhalgh 1916 ~ 2004 GLENWOOD, UTAH- Myrtle Sudweeks Greenhalgh, 88, of Glenwood, Utah, passed away April 12, 2004, at her home in Glenwood. She was born February 17, 1916, in Junction, Utah, to William and Barbara Savage Sudweeks. She married Elmer Brinkerhoff Greenhalgh April 4, 1940, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, December 7, 1996. Myrtle served as a missionary to the Western States Mission 1937-1939. She has served on the Primary Stake Board, Counselor in the Relief Society, Relief Society president, taught Primary, Sunday School, YW MIA and other various callings. Myrtle was secretary of the Glenwood Town Board, PTA president and worked at Richfield Floral and Christensen's Department Store. She is survived by her children, Lynan (James ) Crookston, Washington; William George (Carol ) Greenhalgh, Murray; Barbara (Leon ) Sabaitis, Clearfield; daughter-in-law, Rolaine Greenhalgh Blackham, Richfield; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grand-children; sisters-in-law, Olive Lewis Sudweeks; Irva Brindley Sudweeks, both of Kingston. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Elmer; son, Roger E. Greenhalgh; brothers and sisters: William Clinton (Leora Sudweeks, Alton D Sudweeks, Zelma (Austin) Anderson, Irene (Henri ) Frederiksen, Rawldo Ward "Pete" Sudweeks; grandsons, David Crookston and Samuel Leon Sabaitis. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. in the Glenwood LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Ward Chapel in Glenwood on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, UT.
