A track of land containg 150 acres is situated on the nothr side of the Littel Cove Road, in Bethel Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, was surveyed for the Samuel Truax, the 14th day of May 1787, by George Wood, depty surveyer in pursuance of an order of survey dated 07 Nov 1768 #5234.
January 20, 1787, Samuel Truax deeds all his interest in and to a certain location or order of survy #5234 to William Hart. Records of Bedford County, Pennsylvania sho that Samuel Truax died intestate 1801, leaving a widow, Sarah, 6 children and 8 grandchildren.
