The present Mr. VAN CLEAF was brought up to the occupation of a farmer, & was married Mar 17, 1836, by the Rev. Mr. McFARLAN, to Elizabeth, dau/o Samuel KYLE & Martha LONG. She was born Aug 26, 1815. They have had four children. Alice SEWARD was born Mar 7, 1838, & died May 22, 1874; Martha A. VINNEDGE was born Apr 7, 1840; Sarah J. VAN CLEAF was born Jul 8, 1844; & Hannah M.
