He was buried in Feb. 1872 at Bear Creek Cemetery, Bear Creek, Jennings County, Indiana. Moses Wilson was the third child born to Alexander Wilson and Mary Dixon. He was born January 10, 1794, he was married twice, the first time to Orpha Chapman, and the second time to Nancy Troutman. 1818 July 21, a subscription paper was signed for the purpose of building a meeting-house for the benefit of the Methodist Church, to be built on the land of Adam Troutman.
