PROVO--Dollie Young Alger Bleak, 76, manager of the Provo Cleaning and Dyeing company, died Tuesday night at her home, 782 North First East street, following a stroke of apoplexy. She was born September 3, 1860, at St. George, a daughter of William A. and Emily Riggs Young, and received her education in the public schools of that dis trict. As a member of the L. D. S. church, she served as a teacher in religion class and Primary work.
She was married to Don Lyle Alger on March 1, 1887, at Phoenix, Ariz., where they lived until 1902, when Mr. Alger died. Mrs. Alger returned to St. George, where she was married to Jesse J. Bleak, in 1903. They moved to Provo in 1911, where she had since resided Mr. Bleak died in 1926. Surviving are seven sons and daughters, Mrs. Belle Farnsworth, Covelo, Cal; Lafe and Don Alger, Mrs. Vetta Madsen, Mrs. Ruth Curtis, Provo; Mrs. Maude Dallin, Richfield, and Mrs. Etha Christensen, Driggs, Idaho; 29 grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and two brothers and a sisters, Mrs. Louisa Nay, Giendale, Ariz; James Young, Spanish Fork, and D. E. Young, Santa Monica, Cal. Funeral services will be conducted Sun day at 1:30 p. m. in the Provo L. D. S. Manavu ward chapel. Burial will be in the Provo city burial park, under the direction of the Hatch mortuary. Friends may call at the family residence Sunday prior to the services.
