Fanny Mae LeFevre, on 24. Apr. 1937 at Panguitch, Garfield County, Utah. Dortha Brinkerhoff died on 7. Mar. 2007 at Panguitch, Garfield County, Utah, at age 86.

JUNCTION - Dortha Brinkerhoff Davenport, 86, of Junction, Utah, passed away on March 7, 2007, of cancer in Panguitch, Utah. She was born on April 16, 1920, in Junction, Utah, to Clive Isaac and Myrtle Gray Brinkerhoff. She married William Leon Davenport, April 24, 1937, in Panguitch, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple, November 22, 1941. Dad passed away April 16, 1994.
Dortha was very civic minded and loved to see things clean and beautiful.
In spite of many physical limitations she always tried to keep her yards neat and groomed. She loved her flowers, especially her hollyhocks and tulips. She was a seamstress sewing and creating her own patterns.
Dortha also made many quilts for which she received many grand champion ribbons at the County and State Fairs. For many years she and Dad wove rugs. She was a terrific historian, just recently publishing two books.
She loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dortha was a member of the LDS Church. She served in many callings in the church, but her love was with the primary. There she served as Primary President, Secretary and teacher. From the time she was a small child she worked to help out the family finances. She worked many years in the recorders and treasurers offices at the old Piute County Courthouse assisting Irene Elder and Alice Allen. Many years as a book-keeper for Barlow's at the Texaco Station in Junction, also many years as the Junction Town Clerk. We will miss you Mom, but know Dad is anxiously awaiting your arrival. For now we bid you ado, your family.
She is survived by her children, Cecil Leon (Miyako) Davenport,
Anchorage, Alaska; JoAnn (Darwin) Thompson, Junction; Donna Gean (Albert) Behunin, Junction; Flora (David) Abplanalp, West Jordan; 18 Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren, one GreatGreat-Granddaughter; sisters-inlaw, Mavis Smith, Elsinore; and Louise Brinkerhoff, Sandy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Elna Brinkerhoff and Lois (Dean) Emett; brothers, Arthur Wayne Brinkerhoff and Jack Fredrick Brinkerhoff; She has finally been reunited with her sweetheart and Eternal Companion, Leon
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007, at 12:00 Noon in the Circleville 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call on Monday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Junction Cemetery.
