Former Deputy Sheriff, R. B. Caldwell, Dies

MESQUITE, Dallas Co., Texas Feb 15.-R. B. Caldwell, 50, who served as a Deputy Sheriff under Sheriff Hal Hood, died Friday at his home here. He was born and reared in the Mesquite community.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Baptist Church here. Rev. L. B. Jenkins and the Rev. Fred J. Brucks will officiate. Burial will be at Long Creek Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, five children and sister, Mrs. W. A. Jobson of Dallas. He was buried at Long Creek Cemetery, Sunnyvale, Dallas County, Texas.
