William Lloyd Clem was born on 17. Jul. 1916 at Yellville, Marion County, Arkansas. He married
Elois Mae Crownover, daughter of
Homer Clovis Crownover and
Mary Etta Quinn. William Lloyd Clem began military service on 28. Apr. 1943; attained the rank of Sargeant in the Air Corps. He ended military service on 27. Nov. 1945. He died on 24. Jan. 2004 at Redlands Community Hospital, California, at age 87. He was buried on 30. Jan. 2004 at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Riverside County, California.
William Lloyd Clem, 87, died Jan. 24 at Redlands Community Hospital. Born in Yellville, Ark., Mr. Clem lived in San Bernardino since 1950. He worked for the Southern California Gas Co. for 28 years, including as a meter reader and draftsman. He belonged to Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland, where he taught Sunday school, served on committees and coached sports.
Mr. Clem is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elois; two sons, Gary of Riverside and Ron of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland. Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in Highland is handling arrangements.
