She was a woman of sterling qualities of charachter and will be greatly missed not only in her own home but in the entire community. While hearts are sorely wounded at her passing there is a boon in submission to the ways of Providence and a lifting of hearts to Him who said, "I am the Resurrection and the Life." She leaves to mourn their loss a husband, a daughter, three sons, seven grandchildren, a sister, four brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends. "Strength and honor were her clothing. Her children arise up and call her blessed." Funeral service was held at the home Sunday afternoon, being conducted by Rev. I. C. Tedford. Interment in the Hutsonville Cemetery.
