Dec. 1819 at Nippenose, Limestone Twp., Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Nippenose, Limestone Twp., Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. George is considered one of the pioneer settlers of Lycoming Co., PA. He lived on the Quiggle land until her married the owner's daughter and then purchaed 300 acres in Nippenose where they moved into a log cabin. Later he built a stone house that his grandson Michael Q. lived still lived in in 1892. He was buried at the graveyard on the farm of Samuel Stewart, which was next to their farm. He was a Presbyterian.
