Jules Verne Crownover, 89, of Clinton died Sunday, July 16, 2006.
He was born Nov. 23, 1916, at Bee Branch, the son of William D. and Pearl (Winningham) Crownover. He was the widower of Mary Milton Crownover. He was a member of the Clinton First Baptist Church, a Mason, and a retired soil technician.
Survivors include four sons, James Crownover of Elms Springs, Bill Crownover of Mul-drow, Okla., Randal Crownover of North Little Rock, and Byron Crownover of Morrilton; two daughters, Ginger Spendley of Somersworth, N.H., and Linda Crownover of Branson, Mo; one brother, Carl Crownover of Brooklyn, N.Y; two sisters, Stella Mae Sample of Clinton and Jeannette Maddox of North Little Rock; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at Quattlebaum Cemetery. A mem-orial with Masonic rites will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Clinton First Baptist Church with Bill Saxby officiating.
Memorials may be made to Clinton First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Joel Crownover, Brian Crownover, Andrew Crownover, Daniel Eldridge, Steven Huffman, and Chris Church.
