Lora Crownover, 83, passed away Feb. 16, 2005. Among those who will greatly miss this wonderful woman is her husband of 64 years, Loyal Crownover; daughters, Jolynn Kolk and Terry Robb; son, Greg Crownover; son-in-law, Bill Robb; grandchildren, Melissa and Geoff Reeves, Lori and Mark Roberts, Karen and John Anderson, Allison and Bill Halpin, Nicole Crownover and Paul Crownover; great-grandchildren, Madison Paul, Jackson Reeves, Tim, Krista and Katelyn Anderson and Abbigail Halpin; sisters, Barbara Holmes and Millie Rickard; brother, Darron Evans; and a multitude of extended family and friends. Lora's love of color and nature led her to become an accomplished artist with some of her paintings published as greeting cards. She read and traveled extensively, always curious about and appreciative of the commonalities and differences of people and cultures around the world. Family, friends and complete strangers often benefitted from her huge heart and spirit of generosity... She was an amazing cook and loved nothing more than to have her family gathered about her in the warm, loving home that she created. She spoke often of her gratitude for the long, plentiful life with which she had been blessed. Her family and friends are united in their gratefulness for having had her in their lives and in the void that remains at her passing. An open-house celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at the family home.
