Memorial services for Mr. Edward N. Fields, 85, of Granville, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at Granville United Methodist Church with Rev. Ernest Blair officiating.
Mr. Fields died Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. A retired mechanic, he was a member of St. Mark's Presbyterian Church choir and the Jubilee Singers in Pasco County, FL, before moving to Granville in 2004. He was a member of Granville United Methodist Church.
Born March 16, 1921, in Asbury Park, NJ, he was the son of the late Dean Westbrook and Eliza (Whitlock) Fields.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Kathryn (Hardt) Fields; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Richard and Gaylene Fields and Barry and Jaye Fields, all of Granville; and 3 grandsons, Brian Fields, Michael Fields, and Scot Fields.
The family chose cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to Granville United Methodist Church, Clover Street, Granville, TN 38564.
